I love this cab. I want four for a double stack, re-tolexed one stack in purple and the other stack in orange with matching Marshall VBA 400 amps and then four roadies in matching coveralls (two in purple, two in orange) to move it all for me.

Yup. Modern 4x15. Still haven't seen any in the wilds yet though, so I'm guessing still as rare as Platypus Pharts. They exist, but ... good luck sniffin' one out.

Lemmy is 5'10" (178 cm)

The 4x15 makes the 4x12 look like a 4x8!


I haven't been able to track down specs, what they WEIGH. I guess if you have to ask, then you can't afford the roadies to move it.

Oh, and I'd cover the speakers with traditional Marshall grill cloth circa 1966, but still leave the individual speaker covers on to protect the cones.

Peavey 415SUB. I used to rock a pair of these with a pair of Carver PM1200s running them. Usually for show with a direct box taking care of business, but certainly operational and fully functional when an idiot guitarist with a "cute" stack decided he was the most important thing on that stage. I don't remember a 3510, but I'm no Peavey expert. I do remember a 3620, which was 2x18 + 2x10. I still have an 18 + 2x10 (model 1820), from way back when, but I've never heard the 3620 in person.

Always wondered what Marshall bass heads were like. The only bass stuff from England I have ever played were Trace Elliot and Laney.

I'm guessing that is a sealed cab. Someone in the v-type thread, pointed out that tube amps like the V4,6,8, SVT, Aguilar, Lemmy's Heads, all come with stock sealed cabs. This is because tube power amps react better with sealed cabs. The 810 of any brand are sealed. The stock 412's for the V4,6,8 are sealed. Lemmy's Marshall cabs are sealed. I'm thinking she was right. Everybody that are using ported 410's aren't doing their extremely expensive tube bass heads justice. Yes they sound good, but there is something to this.

Untrue.

The Ampeg B-15 and V-4B came with ported cabs. So did the Sunn 200S and 2000S, as well as the Mesa D-180, 400, and 400+.
