Gus & Ray Williams (Basketball), Scooter & Rodney McCray (Basketball) & Roy Smith (Baseball). Charles Hardy (singer with The Manhattans), Jeff Redd (singer) and Heavy D (rapper) to name a few.

Eric Bazilian of The Hooters is my ex-brother-in-law. We still see each other once or twice a year, and chat on fb.
I went to college with Chris Columbus (director of Home Alone, Harry Potter, etc.) Knew him fairly well.
I talk to Steve Sabol (NFL Films) a few times a week., and several ex-NFL players regularly.

I used to hang with Trent Reznor back when he and I lived in New Orleans. That's my band doing backup vocals on "Starcussers, Inc.", from The Fragile. He and I both moved away and we fell out of touch - I haven't talked with him in years.

I also used to be in a band closely associated with The Black Eyed Peas. I never really dug them, so I don't think that counts.

These days the most famous dude I know is Billy Gould. We do a lot of work for him at my shop. Nice dude.

My boss is kinda famous. He's one of the guitarists in the band Demon Hunter. I play in his side project. I'd say he's prob one of the most famous people I know.

I did recently get drunk with Neil Youngs drummer though. That was interesting. We've sort of kept touch since then, but I doubt we'll be hanging out again anytime soon.

Also, a buddy of mine from high school plays for the Mariners now. I guess that counts.

I'm envious. I got to have dinner with him back in the mid-70s while the Crusaders were at the top of their popularity. He was an extremely gracious gentleman. I only knew him to be a horn player then, not realizing he had laid down some of the best bass lines ever for the Jackson 5 out in LA.

if anyone follows NHL, Maple Leafs' draft pick Tyler Biggs and I were in a few freshman HS classes together before he transferred. Although we were somewhat cool together back then, recently we saw each other at a movie theater waiting in line to buy food but we didn't acknowledge each other.

Funny...I always knew him as a sax player, too! Didn't even know he had anything to do with the bass until I had been playing for a couple of years (about 18 at the time)

lol, no. I wish I did... lots of those guys you might actually have heard of.

My wife is a coreographer and is now working on tv, in a local tv show, a version of Dancing with the stars. But local stars don't shine as bright...
she did get to work with and we got to meet some huge coreographers, a guy that worked for Madonna and Michael Jackson, and a guy that worked with Bob Fosse.
Actually this year Pamela Anderson and Mike Tyson were dancing here... I suppose they're not getting too much work back home?
