Not really personally, I played with and got to know quite a few sidemen/session guy's with those connections and some that made it in the mainstream with bands. A few actors and musicians that graduated from Middlesex University when I lived in that neck of the wood's, an actress in one of the weekly soaps here, Ron Wood's son, 3 of the guy's out of 'The Feeling'.... London isn't that big a place really, the circles are quite small.

When I was a very young guy, probably 16 or so, I went on a "date" with Nikki Taylor, the supermodel. She didn't like me all that much, though! I was also friends with Scott Weinger, who was the voice of Aladdin/Full House "Steve", etc. when I was in high school.

I've met a bunch of famous people, including Vice President Joe Biden and the late former Chief Justice William Rhenquist. But the only one I'd call a friend is Iron Chef Jose Garces, who is huge in the world of cuisine. He lives around the corner. Our daughters are friends, and he's an extremely cool guy. His restaurants are amazing, and you should check them out if you visit Philly.

Personally, no. But a good friend of mine has an example big enough to share--his boss has been dating George Lucas for years. My friend has talked to him on the phone and has even been to Skywalker Ranch once. He saw part of the archives, although he had to catch a flight home before they got to the Death Star.

I went to school with M. Night Shyamalan from 1st through 8th grade. We just know him as Manoj. He comes to the reunions, since he still lives in the area.

Rob McElhenney from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia went to our school as well.
