Do You consider yourself a natural born bassist?

I consider myself a natural born musician dispositioned for bass. Once I learned the basics (Sax in grade school) I have been able to teach myself to play any instrument I wanted profecienty in a short period of time. Bass is the only instrument I have not gotten bored with or stuck to just dabbeling.

The bass part of music also fits my personallity. I'm not the kind of guy you notice when I am there, but I am really noticed when I am not there.

Everything I have I had to work to get. I have some chops now, but my strength is in my creativity. My brother is a natural musician with a great ear and natural chops, but can't come up with too much on his own/original stuff. Having said that, I'm more of a guitarrist when I'm sitting down and choose which instrument to play at home, and love bass for playing with others.
