See, I think a black pick guard would do wonders for that thing. But, my NTF is beautiful. Tort and all baby!Whatever you do, it's simply going to look unappealing to you with a black, white or tort pickguard.

That's exactly the model I would like to have, natural finish "70s" Squier VM Jazz Bass with black pickguard, maple neck and those rectangle inlays. But these are quite rare on local used market.I have a squier 70s jazz bass with a natural finish and I think it looks kind of unappealing.
