Do you have a stage name?

If you have a stage name of any sort, or know someone who does post it. If you can, maybe include how you got that name.
I shall start. Although my name is Matt, i am called "Homeless Dave". I got the name during the SD State FFA convention, when a person whom i had never met before called me Homeless Dave because i had my ffa jacket in a bag (wasn't required to wear it in ag mechanics and the clothes i was wearing made me look homeless.

I’m “Catfish McCoy” because bass is the “bottom” of the musical spectrum and catfish sit on the bottom of the Mississippi River. Bandmate’s dad came up with it and it stuck.

I was Fat Paul for many years, I quit playing gigs, lost 100 pounds and started exercising. I am now, and have been FIT Paul for about five years. Good thing I retired from gigs, not many people will come out to see some guy named Jeffrey with a stage name of FIT Paul play blues..

I use my middle name - the name you know me by here at TB - as my professional name. I'm known by my first name to my closest friends. Within the context of bass, this means that I am introduced to the audience as Morrighan, and take my set break with friends who know my by my first name.

I played in a four-piece country band once and we all had joke stage names that we would use to introduce ourselves on the occasion when a room we were playing had basically no crowd. I was Danny Magz, drummer was Dickie Silvers, guitarist was Billy Whitehorse and the lead singer Jack Connoly was.......Jack Connoly....:smug:

I have used "Gusto" on a few album credits. Most of the time I have a hard enough time getting people to believe my name is Gus and not short for something else.. (August, Augustus, Gustavo, Gustopher... You
get the idea)
