Do you have first fret marker? Would you?

Most basses and guitars dont have a 1st fret marker. I first came across ones with on Jacksons with the sharkfin inlays and liked it. Since I started useing fretlord glow dotz fret markers Ive allways added 1st fret marker for the liked look of it. No big deal but still kinda like having them for looks. Kinda nice on dark instruments in darker conditions to in a small way. Is silly thing, but still. Lol.

So question is, who else has or would have 1st fret marker on their basses?

There's a first fret inlay and marker on my Schecter. Its literally the ONLY thing about this bass that I hate. When jamming I usually just look at the guitarists hands and can tell what chord they're playing based on the fret inlays, then I look at my neck to set myself and I end up a whole step flat because I counted the markers....

Hate it hate it hate it. I've even considered putting a piece of electrical tape over it just to be rid of the darn thing.

My current bass is the first one I've owned with a first fret inlay. Really doesn't make any difference to me one way or another.

This is the first one I've owned with black pearl inlays. I do like how they look.

It's also the first one I've owned with black neck binding which include the side markers. Another feature that I like about this bass.

Echo no marker for dots, yes for blocks. In truth I prefer no markers at all. Blocks on a Jazz are dead sexy though... :D

I'm totally the other way 'round. My first Jazz had blocks and that was one of my motives to buy an older bass, to get dots. I have no need for blocks at any fret, but dots with vintage profile frets are where it's at!!

Decals, I love 'em!

My old Ibanez Musician basses have them, but my old Ibanez Studio basses don't. Go figure....

I don't mind them any, but I don't really understand the point. It takes an awful lot of beers before I can't find the first fret.
