Oh wow that's super awesome! I bet it sound great. Yea mine is newer (2005) so I'm betting they sound like 2 different animals. I'm debating an audere for mine. I think it would compliment the fretless sound.

Do You Have Multiple Basses But Gig the Same Bass(es)

My Fodera Monarch 5 sounds better than my other basses and it gets almost all the work.
I may plan to play another bass to start a gig (different tuning, etc.) but once I pick up that Fodera, I can't put it down.
The only exceptions are acoustic or blues gigs. The 1974 P with tapes gets all of those gigs....

My problem is that if my wife doesn't see each member of the gang showing up on stage occasionally, she thinks I need to cull the heard.

Because I play bass with a ukulele group, I gig with the two that visually fit in, my first bass, a Gold Tone GT MicroBass 23" and my custom made fretless acoustic bass uke, 21" scale. But I have 4 more that I will use for rehearsals.

I have a cheap ltd b-55 that I leave at the practice room. it feels great but it has a lot of static when you turn the knobs. I wouldn't gig with it but it's great to be able to leave it at the jam space. I also have a few that just sit in their stands lol. perhaps it's time to downsize
I have four but am currently using two. I've mostly been using my MIM Blacktop P as it's still new to me but since I've been attending a few acoustic open mic nights recently and seem to have accidentally found my way into a loosely formed acoustic rock band, the Crafter has also been seen out a lot. I am planning to rotate my Peavey and my Washburn into the open mic nights though.

Actually, I used to have almost 20 basses, now I am down to two Foderas, two Fenders and a Valenti. Couldn't be happier.
That was custom made to my specs by Bruce Herron of Blue Star Guitar in Michigan for $700. I provided all the cheap Chinese hardware, but he hand made the bridge plate. It's 22" scale with 30" La Bella Deep Talkin' strings that string-through into a chamber on the back to allow 30" strings to work on 22" scale. But it has a bit of a hum that I have to address with maybe shielding material in the electronics well, or better pickups.
