Do you like Metal??

I thought it was pretty good/tight, but as one of the ageing guys here - I'm not all that much into that style of vocals. I'm more used to vocal styles like Mustaine, Hetfield or Anselmo, but music is always changing.

I wonder how you'd sound with Maria Brink on vocals!

Man, it sounds killer! Love the late '80s thrash vibe, but the drummer's fills are a little bit off during some parts, specially on Demigod's solo section.
Keep it up!

Agree, my drummer is actually really good, this recording session really showed us all our flaws for sure. When we can get some money together, we can actually record in a better studio and have a better mix.

Thrash for life!!

I don't know metal really. When I was in high school I listened to Kreator, DRI, Sepultura, and stuff like that, but that was a long time ago. I watched the whole video while drunk and trying to cook food for myself and I can say this,: If I was there I probably would have gotten wasted and done a few beard windmills since I'm a balding 40 year old and hair windmills aren't in the picture anymore. Now I find myself in a metal band so I'm having a look at things these days and I can see things from a different perspective. You guys have a great foundation to start from and it is still early days. As for the comments about your drummer, it seems like he couldn't hear everything he needed to. I have had to deal with bad sound where I had to face my drummer at all times and all he had to go by was where I was on the fretboard. I don't doubt your drummer has his poopie figured out. If you will excuse me I shall strap on my drinkin' bib and get back to work. After all, I am your beer leader, Kim Jong Chug. Cheers from your northern Canadian neighbour.

Thanks for the input. We have 8 originals and working on more. The singer plays too so we are going to attempt having a rythm guitar for a beefier sound, as well as writing more. Trying to go on a different sound approach rather than sound like every other newer metal band. We shall see in the future and I will def post more tunes as we write

Kurt is brilliant!!!
One of my fave musicians, easily. I'm also a huge admirer of his production work. Bit of a dream to record at God City (the waiting list is out the door, though...).

I really dig Nate Newton's playing and tone, too (although I think Kurt is responsible for the latter?). Nate's actually a guitarist, which I always think is pretty interesting. I like when musos from different disciplines cross over enough to come up with something a li'l diff.
