Do You Like Tacos?

That would explain the mile long lines at the JITB yesterday. People put themselves through a lot of effort just to get $1 worth of free tacos.

I don't mind the JITB tacos, but I would never have them if I was seriously craving a taco. They are good and cheap when you are hungry and need a break from burgers. I can't really eat them anymore though. I had the flu last time I had one, so the thought of a JITB taco brings back bad memories.

I get the whole "make them at home" crowd. But at 1AM, busting out all the fixings for tacos isn't really an option.

Love real tacos, like you can get from local taco stands back out in San Diego, where my dad and sister live. Here in this area of NJ, Taco Bell is the best you can do. Better than nothing, but not a lot like the 'real thing' so to speak.

How close are you to South Philly? There's a pretty decent taco stand at 5th & Washington. 3 chorizo tacos & 1 carnitas taco makes for a pretty tasty lunch.

Tacos in California. Maybe, Arizona.

The tacos here, and right across the border (less than a five minute drive to the crossing at Andrade) kill the tacos in the Bay Area. I do miss Acapulco's mexican food in Alameda, though.
