its just a figure of speech, "playing the rests" == putting some space between improvising musicians and their phrases. I am not saying that I know where your rests are in your composition. I am saying that it did sound busy.

We were never not kool. I just don't go around trying to rewrite some one else's compositions.


Criticism I can accept,because it comes with the territory. If some one doesn't like it I have no problem with that. But it really is funny when some one writes the exact tune you wrote with out ever hearing your version and of course they're version is perfect
