Do you play or rehearse with 2 basses?

I have a 4-channel resistance mixer. All of my basses have killswitches, so I just put one down, pick up the other, and go. Then I can leave all four plugged in and switch out basses as needed. I can also pre-set the volume levels on the mixer (smaller than most of my other pedals), so it's a win-win situation.

Depends on the gig. When do, I use a Radial Bassbone -- active bass in Channel 1, passive in Channel 2. Works well and keeps my sound man happy.

+2 to the Boss Tuner. The tuner will mute the cable- If I switch basses, I am going to want to check the tuning on the new bass before I start playing anyway. I don't want to have to pay extra for something that is redundant and that has parts that could fail.

The BassBone was what I had intended on purchasing but I couldn't find one in stock on the day that I bought the Snap Jacks. It's a great DI able to handle an active and a passive bass. But I must admit that the BassBone was a bit of a compromise for me because I didn't want any additional EQing or other tone altering things in between my basses and amp/PA. I do like the BassBone though but it's just not optimal for my needs at present. The P5 is P-Retro equiped and the Reverend BH5 put out plenty of signal.

My Reverend BH5's & Fender P5 have never gone out of tune during a gig so a tuner in my signal chain isn't necessary for me.

Another vote for the BassBone, except I tend to go fretless in channel 1, fretted in channel 2. On some occasions it's 4 string and 5 string. I don't own any passive basses (my son's P-bass doesn't count)

I might be interested in something like a snapjack if I go back to a wireless setup.

Sure, why not? If you have a variety of basses to choose from and enjoy playing them, then you may as well use them.
