do you see the lady turn clockwise or counterclockwise?

This is easy. Look, and see which way it appears to you. For me, it's usualy counter-clockwise at first.

But then focus on the leg sticking out. If you see her going counterclockwise, then her sticking-outleg is her left leg.

If you see her going clockwise, it's her right leg.

Wierd. The only way I could see her go counter clockwise was by hiding the left and middle one, watching the right, then adding the middle one back in. Even then, if i hid the right one, it was a struggle to keep seeing her spin counter clockwise. Watching her go counter clockwise just felt unnatural.

Clockwise was my initial perception.

Took a couple of seconds to see it the other way, but now I can picture both when I want to. Clockwise is definitely the natural perception though.

usually clockwise, but on a rare occasion I'll see it going counterclockwise

EDIT: Wow, after trying on a number of occasions to be able to actually see it clockwise for more than a second, I saw it clockwise, and now can't get it to change back

Woot I beat it!

I figured out how to get her to go clockwise, and then keep going clockwise when I look directly at her. I posted earlier about my experience with her just going back and forth side to side or clockwise, but only when not looking directly at her.

Now if I focus directly at the feet, not doing the blank stare at the floor, she'll start going clockwise, even when I look up at her and she'll keep going that way, also with no blurring or leg trailing. First time when I click on the page it is always CCW though.

Sweet.


*edit* Weird.. now she's CW when I first open the page, and I have to focus to get her back CCW.

look at the face as her leg whips around. You can see that she's facing backward while her leg moves to the right. Ere go, clockwise.
