Do you still get nervous before a gig?

I've been playing since '89 and I get nervous before EVERY gig. It's a part of the rush to me and I kinda like it.

I get nervous when we show up to a town we have never played before, do the soundcheck and everything, and wait around for a while, and nobody shows up.
Then we go back to the hotel or something, thinking it is gonna be a **** show, and when we go out on stage the place is packed and people bouncing off the walls in the first song.
So confusing sometimes.

I find I don't get nervous before the gig...more often than not, I'm just itching to get the show rolling, but once we start to play the first song, I get a moment of full on fear, panic, and excitement all at once. I have that moment for 10 seconds (during which I stare at the floor) then after that, all's good.
