I am a semi-professional musician
I am a huge fan of King Crimson and Emerson Lake and Palmer and I consider Greg to be a prolific bass player. Loved his playing on From The Beginning and Brain Salad Surgery. If I remember correctly he played a sunburst CBS Fender Jazz Bass but moved on to a Gibson Ripper and Alembic 8 string. I own a majority of Emerson Lake and Palmer catalogue and find them to be irresistibly addicting progressive rock.

But if you consider Greg Lake a great bass player then we have something in common.
