Featured packed, and a cut/boost EQ section (100hz & 3khz). Looks awesome, hoping it might be bass friendly too!

I had a Bad Monkey for a while. Ultimately it couldn’t really do low-gain overdrive with a low enough gain, and I felt other pedals sounded better as overdrives.

But this is a new pedal. It could work on bass, if 100 Hz is low enough for your “bass” control?

well 100 and 3k only, makes sense. 3k is where you might want a cut (or whatever) and the slope of the 100 would be wide. As long as this is priced like a DOD, I'm slightly interested if it's unique

I’m having a Mandela effect moment, could’ve sworn there was already a pedal called the Badder Monkey but now I can’t find it

Either way, this one looks cool

Thant's not a monkey on the front of the pedal. It's a chimp. Monkeys have tails. Apes do not.

Whilst I may have all kinds of time for a nice, clear discrepancy between two primates, I have to say… this may just be the most pedantic post I’ve seen on here in good while. Which is quite an achievement, to be fair. Chapeau, sir!

Will be interesting to see if the JHS-inflation has subsided, or if this pedal will also get caught in the whirlwind

Had to look up pedantic:

- A pedantic sentence uses "pedantic" to describe someone overly concerned with minor rules, details, or academic precision, often in a tiresome way, like: "The professor's pedantic corrections on spelling made the otherwise interesting lecture feel tedious".

You're mom's an ape.

Truth.

(No one cares.)
I have been a science communicator for years as part of a project working for Sense about Science. A lot of what I do is correcting misinformation around evolution and how we came to be. A lot of people tell me during a debate or whatever that us evolving from monkeys is ridiculous and you know what, they're right. We're apes.

I care a lot.

Me too. People don't like what they don't understand often enough if it hurst their feelings

Has anyone had a chance to try this out yet? There's only one demo on YouTube so far.

If I remember right, the Bad Monkey was Tube Screamer based. I wonder how the new one compares to the Xotic BB. The price is nicer.
