Another pedal? :eyebrow: Ohhh rrrrreeeeallyyyy...

Well in light of that certainly shaking things up here, here's a little something different for the Boneshaker today...

These "Boneshakers" either on a small LCD screen mounted to the Boneshaker, or on one of those old-time plastic covered images that changes as the viewing angle changes — know what I mean?

No, not holographic. It's called Lenticular Printing.

Here's a close-up of the surface, from the wiki linked above:

As a kid you may have done an arts and craft project in school, Link Removed, taking two photos and cutting them into strips and then attaching the two images to a piece of folded paper, accordion style, alternating the photo strips so from one angle you see the 1st photo and from the opposite angle the 2nd photo.

Here's the same idea applied to a Folding Gate

I can still remember the first set of stairs I rode down (on purpose)...

Not a boneshaker per se, but this has long been one of my favourite bicycle images.

So, yeah, man, a lenticular printing on the faceplate would be radical. Not sure where to get something like that done. Maybe I'll look into it, have a guy riding a boneshaker and he morphs into a skeleton, or a Penny Farthing that morphs into a Boneshaker.

A holograph on the pedal would be sharp, too. One that changes between these three images on this US Patent filed in 1866 by Pierre Lallemont.

411px-Lallement-bicycle-patent-1866.jpg

M. Lallemont was the former employee of M. Pierre Michaux, who claimed credit for affixing pedals to the vélocipède. M. Lallemont claims to have developed the prototype in 1863, whilst in the employ of M. Michaux.

So who really came up with the idea? Who was legally entitled to being the father of the modern bicycle, Michaux or Lallemont? At this point, who cares, I just want to play with the pedal's semi-para EQ!

From Digitech: "The new DOD Boneshaker is a straight-pipe, hard-tail run down a dirty, choppy road." :thumbsup:
Yeah! The modern Boneshaker, a motorbike bobbed, chopped and beefed up.

Should you give the gift of a DOD Boneshaker pedal to someone, here's the ONLY WRAPPING PAPER that will suffice ;):

Gaawwwlleee! Been a busy week, time for some Boneshakin'!

I'm told laser etching could do justice to this image, however, there is another to consider...

Emperor Joshua A. Norton was a Boneshakin' man!
The San Franciscan was the first and only “[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]”
Given the bike culture of San Francisco, this could be an excellent image for the pedal, but I'd want to lose the background picket fence in the photo and just have Emperor Norton in the fore. Then again, the tops of those pickets have a certain flair...

Boneshaker arrival slated for Early April eh?
Too weak to last two weeks... Nothing to be done about it, except watch the demo reels again.

One. Day. Away. Minutes...

Just think of all the things you could do with your Boneshaker's EQ...

- joust skewer the perfect frequencies;

- spearhead a sonic attack;

- lance a sonic signature;

- pike someone where it Hz;

- harpoon some harmonics;

- bayonet the boom;

- leister loud tones for your listeners;

- Assegai more mids.

YIPPY-KAY-YAY, April IS HERE!
