Does a Volume Pedal Like This Exist?

I have been experimenting with a lot of pedals lately, and for the first time I am thinking about picking up a volume pedal, but I hope that I am not getting the wrong idea. I am wondering if a SUPER sensitive volume pedal exists (or something similar)? Meaning, if you were to very, very lightly place your foot on the pedal, you could drastically increase the volume output. I tried one a long time ago but it wasn't quite what I was expecting, so I am wondering if the kind of volume pedal that I have in mind exists.

Didn't ZVex do a Volume Probe at one point, like their Wah Probe with an inductive plate instead of a rocker pedal? Maybe something like that?

It definitely would depend on the rest of your setup. A regular EB or Morley volume pedal will be pretty fast if they’re the last pedal in a chain going into a highly dynamic amp, but pretty tame if going into an amp with built in compression.

Are you wanting to actually use it to control volume, or using it to affect some other effect?

Aside from the Telonics posted above, a Sonuus Voluum would also be another solution that you can program in different changes as you move the pedal.

Most pedals have a fairly wide rocking motion, so if you are crafty / handy, you could add stops to the Sonuus and set the range using the calibration feature. Then the full range of the sweep is condensed into a smaller movement.

The ither option is to just practice with your foot and put an always on boost pedal infront of the volume pedal.
