Does anyone else here find gas pump tv annoying?

There's one station up here that has it. I don't go there. Many people do. I doubt the execs will separate the correlation of pump tv from causation of 1) being on a main corner and 2) being the newest station in town and thus the least grimy regarding being the busiest station in town.

Brainstorming speaker-silencing vandalism in anticipation of this being a thing at all stations in the near future. Hairspray? Thick stickers? Duct tape? Cheapo snowboard stomp pads? Maxi pads with superglue?

I drive up to a pump, a Man or Woman comes to my window and I say, "Fill it up with 87." and hand them my card. After a few minutes they say, "All set." and I say,"Have a good day!" and am on my way.

Didn’t realize Oregon still doesn’t do self-service. Never understood why.

I pay zero attention to anything when I’m pumping gas outside of the numbers on the display indicating gallons/cost. I also try to maintain a general sense of situational awareness for obvious reasons....

BW3 already does it here. I hate that stupid place. For some reason it's where several of my friends want to celebrate their birthdays.

Pretty much every time I have had to endure gas pump TV here it has been NBA news. Not sure what that says. To me, the NBA is the worst of professional sports anywhere.

Gas pump TV is the worst. I also hate the gas stations that crank music outside in the pump area. Why can't we just pump gas in peace? Do we really have to have music and/or TV screens everywhere?
