Does anyone here know about Harvey Dalton Arnold?

A gifted bassist, Harvey Dalton Arnold was the left handed bassist for the Southern rock band The Outlaws. He joined the band in 1977, replacing Frank O'Keefe, in time for their classic album, Hurry Sundown, on which he played bass on the title track, sang and wrote two tracks. He also played on their 1978 album Playing To Win, and on 1981's Hombres, which featured a cover of Ghost Riders In The Sky.

The most info I could find on the guy is that he plays a left handed, black Fender Precision Bass. It looks to be a big headstock CBS Fender Precision Bass with a maple neck. His amps were primarily Sunn and Acoustic Control Corp amps.

I hope this thread will attract some Outlaws fans who like Harvey Dalton Arnold's soulful bass playing as much as I do.

I really dug that the Outlaws! A killer band that matched the instrumental firepower with excellent vocal harmony, something a lot of guitar bands of that era didn't do. Good songwriting too.

Harvey Dalton Arnold was great with the Outlaws.
Only familiar with the early material (first three albums, yes Albums ), and it was very good.

But also just to mention, so was Greg Lake.
