Seeing as how he asked about owning multiple basses, and also seeing as how Squier is a Fender product, I'd say no

Tons of folks here own multiple basses with no Fenders.

Before I liquidated all my basses due to money problems last year, I owned 8 basses. None were fender. I dont like fenders.

I'd never have bought one now days, and i'll never get one, (dont like them very much) But even at that, my Beat up Old Jazz sits in a Gig bag in the Gear Closet.

So, I have Seven Basses, Two Guitars, and so many amps I cant even count, and my only Fender never gets used.

I own 9 basses and none is a jazz style or P style bass.

2 basses no Fenders but one could argue (and I sometimes do) that my '81 G&L is more of a Fender than anything currently in production.

Until a couple months ago, I had an Epi Les Paul, Epi Thunderbird, and Washburn Mercury. Then I bought my first P Bass, and finally "got it". Now I have a Fender P, a Squire JV, the Washburn Mercury (it was my first bass and is never going anywhere), and UPS will be bringing me another Fender P on Friday.

I HATE Fender with every fiber of my being Hell, almost as much as myself (LONG story).

I have a Ibanez ATK305 (He's also known as The God Killer Odin)

I also have a Yamaha RBX170 in black P/J and she's named Sin-i-ster she's my first bass and I'm serious when I say she plays better than any Fender or Squier I've ever played.
