Does anyone here...

I own 4 Peaveys, 1 Memphis lawsuit Pbass, 1 Yammy RBX200, 1 Rickenbacker 4003, and....a Fender... >_> '95 MIM P-special (p/j hybrid). Funny, 2 years ago if someone would have told me Id own a Fender Id have said they were nuts... that 'Cowpoke' is my first Fender. So sadly I cant say I have multiple basses and no Fender in the stable. I fully appreciate and understand that people dont like them, I used to be in the crowd myself. But what can I say. This p/j flippin rawks. I dont keep it /because/ its a Fender. I keep it because its frankly one hell of a bass and one of the best basses Ive ever owned and own!!!

I have 18 basses, and one Squier P. However, I do have 3 Ibanez Blazers, 1 Roadstar II, 1 Schecter P, and one Modulus Bassstar P. So, count me out. Sorry. Are you crazy??? Get you a Fender style bass man!

I dislike beefy necks totally. My Fender does not have a beefy neck whatsoever. Its very sweet and fast. My 4003 doesnt have a beefy neck either for that matter. Its one of the real thin necked Rics which is good. LOL I really do not like thick necks.

There is always thinner! But I think that Hagstroms are on pole position on this, I've heard they were very very very very thin!

IMO, a bad neck for me can be the best for you. That's why I love subjectivity!

I once tried a violin(the wood instrument not a violin bass) now THATS THIN!! :p

I own Alembic, Ibanez, and Music Man. No Fender. Not my bag baby!!! I first played Ibanez like most beginners from the 90's. Then when I was ready to upgrade I knew that I did not want a Fender. Mainly because I wanted to be different. But then I found my tone in a Music Man SR4. Now I play an Alembic in drop C. Very different tone then the Music Man SR4 in drop D.

This is my current stable. I've never owned a Fender/Fender style bass.
