I thought it said “Olympic” or something like that but couldn’t find a corresponding brand. The axe itself looks a lot like a satellite.I'm pretty certain the logo says Schafer, but this is the first I've seen with two pickups. They were extra short scale as well.
@InhumanResource may be correct that Schafer was just a brand made by Teisco.
Silvertone! Teisco made some of those, too.Looks like the ones they used to sell in the music department at Sears when I was a kid. They looked cool, but not necessarily playable. Of course that might have been due to their “floor model” status, you actually ordered one out of the catalog. Most looked like they had been hanging there for 10 years.
I was gonna say...the old yard sale bass is cool..That's definitely a long scale shovel in the picture.
