does anyone make archtop basses?

im trying to find out if theres a company that makes affordable archtop basses

any help would be appreciated

I think Azola makes one, but I don't think it fall in the "affordable" catagory. Check his web-site though, they are fun to look at if nothing else.

Samick makes one. I haven't even seen one IRL, but the Samick line usually sells at a price point that most players would find reasonable.

Ibanez makes one as well.

Epiphone makes a Jack Cassady model, and a similar design (yet a flat-top) is the Allan Woody. Both are semi-hollow. Then you have the Les Paul style basses. Such as the signature Vince Hornsby Les Paul bass that also has an arched top, but it is a solid body. And also their Les Paul Standard bass. Their Viola bass can also be considered an archtop. Epiphone has one, and so does Jay Turser. There was an upgraded jay turser floating around herre somewhere IIRC.

Darrin Huff's working on an arch-top ABG, I hear, but I don't think they'd be called "affordable" either. On the plus side, you'd be working with a well-known guy who's very cool, so it might be worth it.
Why are you looking for an arch-top electric?

The Takamine B10 is a great archtop bass, again not exactly in the "affordable" category - but check for a used one ( they are rare though).
