Does anyone own a famous Bass?

Its the one instrument that through horrible times in my life I still cannot ever sell. It found me and I will always treasure it.

I have one of those too...

I have a 98 Fender Big Apple Strat that has shared the stage with (almost) every one of my favorite bands. It's traveled to NYC to record, and has played just about every major town between AZ and NY.

No matter what, it will never leave my possession.

I believe that I own this bass.
All of the grain seems to match. I also checked out his Hal Leonard DVD and some vids of him playing with QJ.
It seems to be the same creature.

OMG wow... that bass, in that video inspired me to start slap style...

I own the Mockingbird bass in this pic. It was part on an endorsement deal with LA Guns, not sure how much Johnny Crypt actually played it since there's hardly any wear on it.

I was never really a fan of LA Guns but I love the bass!

I almost bought Glen Benton's Mesa 400+.

I feel dumb for passing it up. I bought an SVT-VR instead which arrived broken. That's probably my closest claim to fame... unless there's a story behind my T-40 which was owned by another TB'er.

That thing is probably possessed and all the knobs only go up to 6

I don't own any famous basses, but I have a B15 that was owned by Gilley's. I'm sure some famous people have played through it.

I'm not much of a guitarist, but i played EVH's red guitar and the matching steinberger.

Nope. Rocket from the Crypt. However, the band Rocket from the Tomb was an inspiration of theirs when choosing the name apparently.
