Does such a thing exist? Envelope filter content

Was at band rehearsal yesterday and we were playing a song where I felt like I was missing the bass wah. So I thought, maybe I should get one, then I remembered from my days of owning whammy pedals that I absolutely suck using the rocker type pedals. So now I’m curious if there’s maybe an envelope filter that has a momentary switch option? Step on it and the effect comes on, step off and it turns off. More so as a way to accent notes than to have as an effect that’s on for an entire section of a song. I thought well maybe I if use a effects loop pedal with a momentary switch along with a standard EF but I don’t think I have enough space left available on my board for that. And I don’t really want to switch to a bigger board as I mainly am just an overdrive junkie and I like the small size of my PT mini. Any suggestions?

You should be able to get your favorite pedal modded to do momentary. Buffalo Guitars - Custom guitars mods amps pedals effects speakers is who I'd contact.

I mean, you can probably get an expensive digital multi effect that can do this, but I don't know any standalone envelope filters that have that feature. Not too hard to make a momentary loop pedal for punch-in any effect (don't know of any on the shelf atm).

Could also just tap on the tap off with the bypass switch tho.

The Dr Q has a big clunky off and on switch. The disco bass players loved them. There maybe a updated silent switch you could change out to. E/H still is making stuff that i've seen on youtube. I'd start there.

Not sure if such a filter pedal exists, but I use a looper with a momentary switch for that.

Oh, man, try a Plutoneium Bass ChiWahWah. It’s kinda like a miniature, backward optical switchless wah. Just tap your toe on the bottom edge of it like a boss pedal for a quick wah lick and take your foot off to bypass.
