Double Bass Does this bridge look right?

This is an upright someone has on a local market. I've yet to go look at it for a few reasons.

I know it's difficult to tell from this angle but the bridge looks a little out of whack, as if the wood underneath is warped. It's the only angle of the bridge posted.

He doesn't know what make or model it is and the price is dropping. I've held off until it gets closer to what I would want to spend before enen looking.

Looks like it's been bumped out of place. I had one that got bumped in the case, all I did was slide it back into place and it was fine. The string tension is the only thing that holds it in place. You have to be mind full of that when you put it in the case.

Yes. The bridge feet should rest on on an imaginary straight line between the notches in the inboard sides of the f holes.

Yes it does look like that, which is why it looks like the wood is messed up.
This person probably didn't know to straighten it before take a pic and posting it.
I need to go look at it in person, it could be in decent shape.

Or the person had the mistaken notion that the bridge should be compensated like on an electric bass.
