Double Bass Does This Look Worrisome?

Is that too many threads, or is that reasonable? I measured, but it was a while ago... one was 0.274" and the other 0.24" (E side and G side, respectively, I think).

Compared to my old brass adjusters the Full Circle has a much longer thread. No problem with your current setting, even if it would have been the shorter threads of my brass adjusters.

Do you still have brass adjusters on you bass? I feel like the weight would make brass a terrible choice, but yet a customer wanted some. I won't do it

Not on the bass, I have the Yamahiko on the bass the and the second bridge doesn’t have adjusters.
I know they are heavy and kill a lot of the sound. Found that out when I changes to a Full Circle (which was later replaced by the Yamahiko).
They are 35 years old and have a lot of that patina…
If you want them you can get them.

I use brass on basses that are overly bright or when the customer wants a darker tone. As long as the customer knows that brass may mute some volume, but WILL make the bass sound a bit darker, I don’t see the problem. I see it as just one more tool to adjust the tone.
