Does your SO support your Bass Playing?

Mine is definitely category 1. She actually likes it better that I play bass rather than guitar. She encourages me to play and to expand my musicianship, I can sit and study scales, forms, etc.. for hours and she doens't mind. Nothing is better than a loved one supporting you.

No SO for me (hell, I'm 15), but my parents fall between category 2 and 3. They want me to grow out of being serious, but they can tolerate it in smaller doses.

Part Cat. 1. She loves that I play and encourages me to play, buy new gear, practice etc... at home.

but part Cat. 2. She's kinda only cool with me playing local shows that she can go to. When I go out of town, or have a hectic rehearsal schedule, it's all kinds of trauma and hassle.
