Her name is Juna Serita and she's from Tokyo Japan. I think she's only about 14 years old. She has a few you tube videos and has done an international collaboration with Sina.Drums on an album titled Chi Might ll. Check out her work on a song called "Put it on." She is truly gifted and totally at ease playing stuff I would never even want to try to touch.
Oh yeah , if you want to see how drums should be done , check out any of Sinas covers or originals. She's done a few songs with a Romanian guitarist named Andrei Cerbu. These are some unbelievably talented kids.

I had a friend who did a Japanese tour. He plays solo bass so he was lumped in with Stu Hamm (his idol) and a stack of other Japanese players during his few weeks. My friend is a phenomenal bass player but even he was stunned at the ability of some the Japanese players. His exact quote was "they play bass 26 hours a day over there."
Yeah , 14. The girl that I talked about that plays drums (Sina) Is about 18 now. She did a cover of Smoke on the Water when she was 14. Go check it out. It will knock your socks off. Also , punch in Sina Drums and check out her cover of Stairway to Heaven. The kid playing guitar (Andrei Cerbu) was 17 when he recorded that one and it is the best cover of Pages solo I have ever heard. Oh yeah , the girl singing it is 12. Not great at the beginning but she knocks it out of the park for the finish. Guys ,we have some serious competition nipping at our heels.
Thats' how I feel when I hear someone play that effortlessly.
Reconsider "nipping" maybe? Lol.
The bio on her website makes her 17 when she started playing bass and list gig credits going back to 2011.
