I agree about being careful but the good thing about craigslist is it's local and you can actually go and see what you're interested in. I've gotten and sold a lot of stuff on craigslist. I also picked up an pro model AKG wireless mic system for $50 and the good thing about it was I was only expecting the mic+transmitter (per the ad) as I already had a receiver! I was shocked to see the receiver in the bag!Around me there have been a few Craig lists scams, Just be carefull. It's kinda funny cause you'll see a few ad's with the same picture. If you think something is funny about the ad, you can flag it.

+1. I've taken older gear to Goodwill that I no longer wanted and was too lazy to sell. That was before Craigslist was popular.
