Doing any Halloween gigs this year?

I felt like asking since we are getting closer to October 31st.

But if you guys are doing any Halloween concerts, I’d like to hear about it. What do you usually do on Halloween for your band? How many people do you think will attend your gig? What things have you done on Halloween for your concerts in recent years? I just hope that nobody finds your Halloween events too scary and that you can carry on. But if you plan on hosting a Halloween party concert, please let me know.

And don’t forget to include a cover of Paranoid by Black Sabbath at your Halloween performance. You’ll be glad you did.

Helping out my old band for Halloween show. 10/30. This will be the 3rd one for this lineup. They normally do a costume contest. Yes. We’ll all be in costume. Adding a few party tunes for the show.

I’m not that much of a musician, but I might dress up as Elvis Costello for Halloween.

Sadly, this year we will not be doing a Halloween show.....be one of the few times I have not played a Halloween gig.

In the past we always dress up (every year something different) and about the only song we add for the night is Time Warp. As a three piece we always have a lot of fun and co-ordinate our costumes for a theme. If we had a show this year I was going to get two mannequins or cardboard cutouts and we were going to dress as the Village People.....Maybe next year.

Doing a Halloween gig Saturday 30th at a local brewery.
Last time we played there ( before Covid ) was an audience of 250 ish. With some crowd limits we are expecting about 150.
The band are doing the first half in full zombie makeup, shambling on etc. Should be a laugh.

I'm in a zombie punk carbaret. October is our busy season and we have almost 20 shows for the month of October.

For Halloween weekend we are opening up for the rocky horror picture show at the St George Theater on Friday and then another gig outdoors on Sunday. On Saturday I'm doing a one off band covering Generation X

After missing the 2020 party, we'll be back at The Pub (the originality of these names astounds me) in S. Windsor CT on the 30th. Here is the scene from the 2019 party, when the staff surprised us by running out on the dance floor wearing redhead wigs! Never seen anything like it!

We have another one, on the 16th, private party, at some country club/golf course thing.

Playing a show at a farm market this year. Hoping that the weather is good. We will be covered by a roof with big garage doors open, so I’m not worried about stuff falling on us, but I just want decent weather so people show up.

Many years ago I played a Halloween barn party. It was one of the most fun gigs I ever played. Witches dancing with vampires, spiked cider, lots of corn stalks and pumpkins, straw on the floor. We had a ball!

Missed last year on account of COVID, & this year because of reduced local venues (also at least partly a side effect of COVID).

This will be this bands first haloween gig. Im looking foward to it. Gonna try to talk the guys into wearing some costumes of some sort.

Have a gig on the 30th, big family friendly Halloween party in a barn turned concert venue. The band wants to dress up but I never do. We might add the ghostbusters tune to our normal blues, reggae, and southern rock set

We were offered a house party gig, but I have a 6 year old, and don't want to miss his trick or treating. Oh, and my guitarist will be stuck in a different state. Here's a photo of my band playing Halloween about 15 years ago (before me).
