.... One thing that concerns me: the thread of the E string comes down past the nut. Should I be more worried about breakage that if it didn't?
. Previously in this thread from Kevin / Connolly & Co. / Thomastik:...When the strings are at pitch on the bass, where is the silk on the peg-end? Is it right on or just barely clearing the nut? Does it wrap around the peg enough to where any steel is touching the peg? I ask because breakage can occur if theres metal wrapped on the peg or if too much of the silk is on the nut.

Well swaggered o hairless one.Bring it, diaper boy. But I get to keep my stark E on, since it's what I normally use.
