Don Was

I caught the last part of a 2015 Emmie Lou Harris special in my hotel room last night. Don Was was playing electric and upright. Or was he? I couldnt make out any bass in the mix. Anybody else notice this?

I always see him as the MD and bassist for a lot of tributes shows on AX TV, he always sounds great and loud and clear on my TVs.
Always a smoking band too.
