If the university hadn't wanted him, that's where he probably would have gone. I'm sure if he had a vote, that's where he'd be right now... I did have some concern about finding suitable habitat for him, since releasing him where I found him (right outside my office door) would not have been tolerated by the folks there. That's something of a rationalization (he seems pretty well equipped to deal) but there you have it... He's just so stunning looking that it seemed a shame for him to not be oooo-ed and ahhhhh-ed over by everyone who sees him. I know he would feel differently about that, but I think the university will give him good accomodations...

Or sure just take him from his natural habitat and cage him. Even a bug has rights!! ;)
