Funny/scary story, this was almost my (jody here) last recorded podcast ever. Donny was in Chicago and was kind enough to sit with the Bass Nerds for this podcast. Later that night I was headed to Thalia Hall to catch the show and someone pulled out of an alley in front of me and I was on my motorcycle. I flew over the vehicle and landed in the middle of the street, my bike was totaled. Thankfully I survived with only some bruised ribs. It was very difficult to move for days (getting up, laughing, coughing, etc were the worst). Anyway, Donny is a killer bass player who has some really nice slap bass lines.
