A guitar playing friend, who has seen my luthiery skills (NUBD! (Warning- Ugly bass content)), sent along this pic-

...with the admonition in the title. While it is indeed cringe-worthy, it's almost like an accident from which you just can't turn away.

I actually kind of like that idea, minus all the other butchery. TEISCO instruments often had those cool looking rocker switches that look like they come from an auto parts store.

I mean it is .... an electric guitar, if this sort of thing makes you a bit squeamish than perhaps acoustic instruments would be more to your liking. Love the Teisco, Hagstrom had some really cool switching too

Has a very Home Depot vibe it. Disappointed it doesn't have a dimmer, though.

Looks like that the bridge was moved way back to accommodate that jazz pup. Bet it sounds a bit pitchy when home boy is shredding some solos.

I have that same Teisco. Pretty cool guitar.
As for that awesome bass.... looks like there is dry wall dust on it.

I think that's from all the dry wall screws in it.

You could argue it's green, since everything on it is recycled.
