Has anyone figured out Don't Need You by Cross Canadian Ragweed? Its a great bassline, my band wants to do this sing, can anyone help me out?

I'm just going off memory, but doesn't the line just follow the roots? IIRC it was D-F-G-A. I've never tried it on bass, just guitar, but I am thinking the bass followed the roots.
