Don't Sleep on These While Dealers are Blowing Them Out!

Psssst, just picked this up, brand new, from a dealer for dirt cheap. Cort is blowing these out. Most dealers are currently selling them at half price or less...

Nordstrand USA Big Single pups, Babicz bridge, USA Hipshot tuners, Luminlay side-markers, Mark Bass 3-band preamp (active/passive w passive tone control), roasted maple neck, spalted top, truss wheel, etc, etc. Oh, under 8 lbs!

Just search Reverb for Cort GB Modern... Many dealers have them at a steep discount! Oh, nice hardshell case included too! Basically a Lakland Skyline on steroids (same factory)!

Adding an update: Build quality is stellar, fretwork is stellar, action is stupid-low, tone is also stellar. A truly wonderful instrument!

I do not love the shape (boutique looks are fine, it's not ugly, IMHO) but the discounted price is indeed excellent, and it's just a LOT for the money. I just do not need another active bass, but had I seen such an offer two year ago, I might have bought it. What a great deal this is!

It can be purely passive. Top 3 knobs are standard jazz configuration...VVT. just pull the tone knob and the bottom 3 (active 3-band) are disengaged...

Do you like it? You don't say..... what's great about it? Not the paint job.
Also, not paint. Stained woods, using a charcoal colored stain. Top is stained, spalted maple. Maple center core, walnut laminate in the middle. Wings are another, lightweight wood similar to swamp ash (can't remember the exact wood). 4 or 5 different woods on these. Pretty amazing actually. They also make it in a natural finish vs charcoal.
