Well that depends (the creepiness) on whether your mom is hot.

LOL
This is funny to me. I'm trying to sell a Rick copy on CL right now. I get a TON of weird replies. Check this out...this guys probably not a scammer, but sounds like a crackhead...
he responds to my post:
$400.00 they have them at tommy guitar on the west side what you what for it
so i write:
You should probably scoop one of those up for 400 then. I'm looking to fetch a little more for mine, not in a pinch to sell so I will hang onto it until I find the right buyer.
Thanks!
and he responds:
it not foe me i have a real rick i was tell you that if you ran across someone that low on cash that way i ask you how much your were trying to sell your for not foe me a friend
LOL WUT?![]()
I'm not posting pictures of my mom, you sick bastards![]()
If you were really our friend .... you'd share.
There's a guy in my area that showed up on my Craigslist notifications as selling a bass and I've tried contacting him about buying the bass. After I send him you standard "I saw this bass and I'm interested" message, this is the response I get.
"Dude, if you're gonna ****ing scam me, at least make it look real."
I'm a tad flabbergasted by this response so tell him I'm not trying to scam him or anything.
"Yeah right, I'm really trying to sell this bass and you ****ing scammers are clogging up my inbox. I'm forwarding your e-mails to my spam folder."
Moral: Don't use CL if you're paranoid that everyone's a scammer.

Yep. There she is. Good ol' ma.
I actually copy old email replies I've gotten from scammers to respond to other scammers...seems to really confuse them...and its fun!
