Double Bass Strings

My husband died October 26 and left behind two upright basses. So that I may place an all inclusive ad, is there a simple way for me to tell the maker of the strings by the colors? These have green with black stripe through them at the ball end and are green, black, red, and brown at the winding end. I would appreciate any help this community can give me. Thanks.
