Double discount at Guitar Center

My Longhorn UPS tracking # now shows In Transit - On Time.
Scheduled Delivery Date:06/22/2010

I also ordered a MB212 which showed in stock when I ordered it but then it was back-ordered now they are back in stock. Nothing has happened with that, no tracking # but no cancellation yet. I did use my GC card on that order and my Visa on the Longhorn.

So my cabs were 350$ each i got 2 of them and after discounts cost 160$ Each. SO its not a huge deal or a big ticket item but i got a tracking number but the status says "exception" which means I think it may have been stopped from shipping, not sure but it says its in kansas were i think the warehouse is, who knows whats going on but this is very interesting haha.

There's no hurt in trying.? Try it.! :)

Please don't. Seriously. You'll just ruin the chances for the rest of us bringing this stuff to someone's attention.

If this is your first price mistake deal attempt and you're smelling blood then you need to go spend some time on SlickDeals and FatWallet. Rule #1 is to NEVER CALL the place and ask questions about price mistakes or super slick deals like this. You try to fly under the radar.

My Aguilar DB751 ($830) and Music Man Sterling ($534) are officially in the UPS system, but still as "billing information received". But another baby step towards it getting on a truck. Still bummed about the Aguilar cabs, as that was the first thing I placed an order for. I'm bummed I didn't take more advantage of this deal as there's a bunch of things I genuinely needed like stage snakes which are silly expensive, could've ordered some powered stage monitors, maybe a nice high end studio vocal mic. Drum stuff was outrageous, a Taye Pro set for $220. Should've spent 1/2 a day going crazy. :)

Don't get me wrong, but if you are lucky enough and got THAT far with your orders, I believe that posting them here is just an act of AUTO-SABBOTAGE. Just my 2 cents.

a guitar center rep just called me, and offered the gk mb210 for 398.89, free shipping, with tax. still an awesome deal. not gonna do it though
A couple of minutes ago I got a nearly identical offer that I have 10 days to consider. It's backordered till then anyway. This must be a nightmare for GC cust service, but it seems if you've got an issue with them cancelling your order, they might be willing to step up to some extent...
At this point I think they are already about a day into full-on damage control mode. Still there's hope for some to slip through...

Wow! It is taking them a long time to get to some of you. They got me early. I keep having this picture in my head of this person in the online sales department seeing my name and going "Hay, lets see what this racer guy is buying now, What the **!!! :scowl: :rollno:, Susan, you want to call Mr. Racer and tell him nice try."
