It's too bad that the discount error allowed for so much off; doubt that the IT department will ever make this mistake again; of course it won't be the same staff either
I'm not. I don't care one way or the other about mine, but after giving it a little thought, it'll cost them more than they lost to reverse my order and they won't get any cash flow at all from it, so they'd be stupid not to just let it go and be glad they at least moved some product and got some cash, even if they did so at a slight loss. This thread turned into a ghost town! Everyone's holding their breath.

you can bet that someone won't have a job to come back to on Monday
They just phoned me via a generic "Toll Free Number" according to my Caller ID and said my order had been canceled due to an error allowing too many coupon codes when only one should be used. They offered me 10% which I declined. What they didn't say was exactly what order it was that they were even talking about (I had 4), nor did I request that they clarify as I didn't want to draw any extra attention to my other orders. But I'm assuming they were talking about the cab orders that were already canceled via email and that they were simply trying to save my sale via a phone call.
or it was someones last day already and they wanted go out with a bang!
I was thinking: can the receiver call UPS and state he wants to pick the item up personally at a certain facility ?. If so, you can halt the shipping and pick it up out of town in another state for example. That way you anticipate to GC's call to UPS. I would travel couple of hundred miles if that means a couple of hundred dollars in savings.
Nope. Won't work.I was thinking: can the receiver call UPS and state he wants to pick the item up personally at a certain facility ?. UPS provides horrid info through their tracking system. lol
On a side note since im trying not to get to worked up over this thread, i heard a car today that sounded exactly like anikans pod racer from star wars. I had to do a double take and then just laughed.

That would just be too heartwarming. Haw. Stuff like that happens all the time with disgruntled programmers leaving little timebombs behind when they get the boot.or it was someones last day already and they wanted go out with a bang!
