Im wondering about the exception thing as well. I know its obvious to suspect its because of GC but im starting to doubt that now.

EDIT: I figured out what the exceptions are for. This is gonna make some of you laugh, i know i did anyway. GC tried cheating the UPS system by claiming false weights and/or dimensions on some of their larger items. Of course UPS weighs and/or measures items of a certain size and weight and they caught on. The items are still being shipped but rather than explain that in detail on the tracking page they list it as an exception. If anyone has a speaker cab with an exception, thats probably it.

So do you think GC was oing this to save money on shipping or to try to get the items sent back to them?

Yep, for some reason it says it got rescheduled for the same delivery time it had before the reschedule. I called UPS and they said it just happens sometimes for random reasons and itll arrive on the date or maybe even sooner. At the very least they said its still on its way to me and will be here on time.

I dont know how the FedEx system works but ive seen tracking not show anything till arrival form pretty much all major carrier services.

Incorrect.

An incorrect weight will most likely result in an internal audit that will later be billed to the shipper (plus potential penalties), but assuming the account is in good standing, the package will likely move the package through the system regardless of package weight discrepencies.

What i said wasnt incorrect, at all. He asked if GC entered the wrogn weight to save money or to stop shipment on the orders. They obviously did it to try and save money. They were caught on a routine audit. I was told the exception would not cause the shipment to stop.

At some of the discounts people were getting? No, they weren't. If you bought a single item that was $350 and used all the codes, you'd be getting it at about 95% off.

Ha, just one more reason to flip the Dano. I still cant decide what im gonna do with the other item. Really i just want the stuff to get delievered so i can bitch about my refund on the item they canceled. I have more money tied up in the canceled order than both the other items i bought. I dont dare to do it until then in case they catch on to the other stuff.
