Once again, I don't mean to be a poopy-head. BUT... until that package is in your hands GC can recall it. If it gets past your nearest local distribution center, you're golden. If they catch it prior to that, they recall the shipment and send you an email telling you that there was a problem. They can't keep your money, and they can't charge you in excess of what's already been withdrawn from your account. But they can pull back the shipment and refund your money at any point prior to the package being delivered to your address.

I wish all of you well in screwing GC out of money, but advise that you don't hold your breath....

This is sort of the attitude I'm taking. I fully expect an e-mail tomorrow or Monday telling me my orders have been cancelled. On the other hand, I'm sort of excited to see if this actually pans out. Hoping for the best prepared for the worst is probably the best way to explain it.

I placed both my orders shortly after Midnight so technically it was early this morning. Both orders were approved by 2AM. Only have shipping info on the Hofner though.

I won't be surprised if they catch it, but I won't that that surprised if they don't either. I mean, the 20 or so of us salivating about this on TB are really a drop in the bucket of all the thousands of orders they must have received over the last day or so. And I'm sure the fulfillment process is all automated, so it's not beyond the realm of possibility that at least some of these orders will just slip by.

I made a few orders before midnight but haven't got any shipping notifications yet. Beginning to think I won't be one of the lucky ones. :crying: I'm also now thinking I should have gone for lower priced stuff, I bet GC is more motivated to stop the big ticket items.
