Two Questions

I know you can ask a lot of builders for it but are there any besides the ones below which known for double P 5 string builds?

And are there any production level double Ps?

So far I can think of...

If you're okay with the pickups being offset in some way, rather than specifically having the spacing of a Precision pickup, there are any number of aftermarket soapbar pickups you can use.

Those are from LeCompte's website, but you can get similar configurations from Bartolini and others. Nordstrand makes something similar called Big Break (not to be confused with the Big Split) but as far as I can tell it's only available as an OEM component, some Ibanez basses have them.

I can definitely recommend the Sago. Here's a full view of that yellow Sago bass which happens to be mine. These have become some what popular. It helps that Mina is using this model for her East of Eden gig. I will add that Sago can make this model under their more affordable Stem line. (Stem is to Sago as E-II is to ESP). No five string yet though.

Damn that natural J-body one is right up my alley. What're the deets on that? Looks like tighter string spacing than the P next to it. And 34" scale?

I got it back from Spencer about a month ago. Truss rod repair and a plek. When I add in the bridge P it adds a brighter P tone. Amazing instrument, but so is the P next to it when you just really want a regular P.
