Double Bass Doubling setup on touring / traveling gigs

I haven’t really had the opportunity to do many “fly” gigs but when I’m doubling and backline is provided:

Upright > tonedexter > LS-2. Electric > whatever effects or pre (b7k) > LS-2.

I guess I should get my own direct box but since both signals are buffered at that point, whatever DI they have works fine. That little Boss LS-2 is such a great little pedal.

When I toured the Midwest with Mary Wilson for a week, I took the whole nine yards, because we were playing auditoriums and there was no rental gear. So I took the trusty Walter Woods Ultra and a cabinet.
If I were to do that now, I'd take my Kolstine Busetto travel bass, Lakland 55-94, and the Grace Designs Felix. With that rig all you need is a powered speaker, which a lot of sound rentals have.

I did not know it had 2 DI's its great and it has all you could ever need. At over $1k and not doubling on every gig I don't justify the price and I don't like bulky stuff that needs power specially for out flight out gigs. for in town I am very happy with my doubling set up. I decided on the LEHLE switcher, its small and passive. Thanks everybody for the suggestions!
