Part of his sound is 'digging in' (there is a utoob vid on this) & making it spit. Study it & try it... this is the result of technique.... and took me years to figure out.

I had missed the info ... He definitively still sound a lot like himself on a Pedulla.
I wonder if Mike Pedulla going out of business was the sole factor for him looking for a new bass company, after all he did most of his career on a battered 80s Pedulla with ripped out electronics, so with or without its maker available, it's not like he was after a pristine instrument fresh out of the factory for every tour.

I'd definitively like to know more about the specs of the Sandberg: those pickups do not look like regular Sandberg, they could be EMG or Delanos, or Bartolinis ? Is that an ebony fretboard ?
Come on Sandberg, you can't tease us like that and not give out specs !
