Pedulla is out of business, so I imagine there is no artist support there and plus, Sandbergs are quite good in my limited experience.

I have the feeling that Pedulla sales were declining, and he just felt like letting it go. He earned that right even though it has inconvenienced some of his customers.

You are probably correct. I was planning to order a new one when he made the announcement. I own several of his works that I will treasure but have also moved on to another brand.
