Douglas jazz bass?

I'm thinking of getting a five string active Douglas bass, but I don't know what type should I get. Is there anything you guys recommend me to get? Also I play lots of jazz.

I don't know where you are, but here in America, rondo is the only source I know for Douglas, and right now I don't see any active Douglas 5ers on their site. The model I would recommend. I haven't seen on the site for a while.

Squier has an active j-v. I had a Douglas tele--the neck was made of ramen noodle.
